How does the animation work?
When you use the Para Para app and spin the umbrella in front of the camera the panels will animate in real time.
Do I need the app?
Yes. The app acts as a shutter in order for the animation to be seen. We have tried to spin and blink fast to get the same effect, but this way you can record your video and share it on your socials, plus you save your eyes.
Do I have to pay for the app?
No it’s free.
Whats phone does the app work on?
Currently it works on iphone IOS 14 and above. For Android it's 5 and onwards
What size should I get?
Para Para comes in two sizes, both light weight for a full length umbrella.
Para Para 5 in Large. It’s 90cm with a 107cm canopy when opened and weighs 460g. It comes with a scorched maple handle and a gold tip cup that slides up to hold the rib tips.
Para Para 3 in Small. This umbrella is very light and weighs 310g. A slighter shorter length 86cm with a smaller canopy 87cm wide when open. It cuts a very elegant silhouette with a long malacca handle.
Personal note: George the founder is 5’2” and went on the hunt for a full length she could carry with ease when she found this model.

Do you offer servicing?
Each Para Para comes with a lifetime repair warranty. Accidents can happen so if you need to have anything fixed we can offer servicing with our manufacturer for a fee.
How to I care for my Para Para?
As much as we would love to say Para Para can withstand all weather there is a limit to how much wind it can take. Avoid typhoons and if the rain is going horizontal better to stay inside. Always dry your Para Para open before storing away, we like to leave ours in the bath. Follow the folds of the umbrella canopy to keep creases to a minimum. Any marks should be gently washed with washing up liquid and a soft cloth.

Returns and Exchanges
As Para Para are made to order we cannot offer returns if you change your mind, however if there is an issue with the order we will happily replace it. We can offer exchanges if we have the desired model in stock but return shipping must be paid by the customer.
